Principal Advisory Committee

There have been many concerns brought up by Whetstone students. A class wrote letters to Whetstone’s Principal, Mrs. Routzong, regarding issues with the bathrooms, the courtyard and administration as a whole. Mrs. Routzong finds these letters “very good” with “a lot of great suggestions and ideas”. The suggestions are not all realistic, but they are passionate and showed how much the students cares about both Whetstone and Whetstone students.

Mock Trial

Whetstone has, for the first time in several years, assembled a mock trial team, which meets Thursdays after school from 2:45 to 4:45. The team is preparing for the Mock Trial District Competition. This will take place on January 29, 2016.

2016 Senior Night

Every sports season at Whetstone has a night to honor the seniors who dedicate time and effort to a sport. All in one night, our seniors on drill team, cheerleading, cross country, marching band, and our beloved football team are walked out onto the football field with an escort and are recognized for their hard work on and off the field.
